Day One will engage women, girls, and allies from across the country through inspiring mainstage sessions, issue-breakouts, opportunities to connect with leading fellow changemakers, and an interactive center with organizations and women-owned businesses. You’ll choose 2 breakouts on Saturday: 1 from Session A and 1 from Session B. When you’re not in your breakouts, you’ll be able to take a break for lunch and explore The Center, where over 150 organizations and businesses are hosting activations!

On Day Two, attendees will fan out across Los Angeles to attend skills-based trainings or Community Teach-In’s hosted by a range of organizations that are making change on gender equity in Los Angeles. Please keep an eye out for an email from your Day Two Host with location instructions.

It is safe to say world events are unfolding today in a way that is unlike any other time. With social media and the 24-hour news cycle, we are exposed to news, strong opinions, and calls to action constantly. Contemplating issues or taking a stand can be energizing, but having our beliefs and thoughts about events in mind so often can also be distressing and exhausting. All this can be a significant, destabilizing distraction, interrupting our daily routines and chipping away at our well-being. It's understandable if you or your family members experience increased distress in this highly charged climate - fortunately, there are ways to manage it.

Please join Seleni Institute for a session on how to best help you begin to transform distress or discomfort into resiliency – for both you and your family. In this session, you will hear from clinical experts on how to care for and empower yourself so you can also care for your family and your community in today's fractured world.
